A very beautiful & clean look-out area at the top with large car park.Stairs down to the beach for easy access.(Would be tricky with kids and hands full of beach gear)We went for a fish with beach rods. Hardly any people on the beach that day.Coffee van on site.Public toilets.

One of the nicest beach spots we have come across on our travels. Beautifully maintained, lovely sights and very relaxing. You can even watch the ocean right from your car. Follow along on our adventures around Australia @sambolomio

Just came to relax and look at the SPECTACULAR VIEW. 6 X comfortable wooden lounge chairs. Worth a stop! (Toilets X 3 Unisex/Wheelchair).

Simply beautiful place. The Back Lake opened up to the sea on the day we visited, much to the glee of surfers. Short walk to the right gives you wide vistas of the South Pacific Ocean.

Short Point Recreation Reserve
Worth a stop if in the area. Beautiful white sand surf beach one side and Black Lagoon the other. It was a wild and windy day when we stopped. Surfers were out and the sky in the distance was dramatic with stormy clouds and a bit of sun peepiing out which made for some good photos. Nice big car park too. Well worth a visit.
