Abundant facilities that are modern usable and includes free BBQ facilities.Nice swimming spot in the park and grassed areas for sunbaking.Pontoon in the tidal lake for fun and safety.Toilets are well maintained.Includes a basketball come other sports free court.Lots of shaded eating spots.Free parking also big enough for caravans to manoeuvre and park ( no you can't camp there but caravan park next door)Also you can access Stuart Island boat ramp and the Nambucca Heads Island Golf Course.The Bellwood store and cafe are also opposite

Great park, good kids playground and direct access to the lagoon, great for a lazy summer day, parking is a little limited on busy days, but you shouldn't need to wait long. The lagoon has easy entry and is not too deep, it does have some deep areas, but great for the kids as no waves, plenty of room to spread out.

Had a lovely picnic on the grass with the grandchildren....Lots of shelters, picnic benches, tables and trees to rekax on and have a picnic.BBQ facilities available... Located on the edge of Nambucca River.Awesome playground for the children to play on with a huge sails to protect them from the elements. The only criticism I have would have love to see a couple more of smaller activities for toddlers...otherwise awesome for 4-5 year olds ... Exercise facilities available

Great children's playground next to calm water, close to an excellent restaurant and fish and chip shop. Leash free dog area over the causeway across the river, safe swimming in the river.

This park is on the lake with direct views of the beach. Has plenty of under cover picnic tables and has an amenities block. There is a pontoon on the lake which kids play on. Lots of kayaks here today also.

The new playground, half basketball court and table tennis are very popular additions. Plenty of picnic tables and BBQs to enjoy. Easy to access & beautiful location on the river.Grounds & facilities are well maintained, however there are not enough rubbish bins located around the park and the public toilets are horrible
