Orange Botanic Gardens
Sure a beautiful and tranquil place. Lots of families and friends taking a picnic here. It looks like we went at the perfect time (October long weekend). I loved the apple and cherry trees that were in bloom and the tulips as well. This place is well worth the short drive from the town centre. There is lots of parking and toilets as well.

Beautiful garden to have a nice walk. Kid and dog friendly. A must visit on autumn. Just look at the beautiful trees!! A nice and huge playground nearby, and a cute little cafe that provides outdoor seating as well. They made beautiful coffee and food. Too bad we were there after lunch so they have ran out of stuffs that we wanted to try. Would love to visit the garden when it's snowing!

Cherry blossom was nice when we went in Oct. Pretty big area and it’s free entry, great place to have a walk when the weather is nice

When we visited the botanical gardens in Orange, we were initially surprised by the abundance of evergreen trees instead of the traditional autumn colours we had expected. However, we quickly realized that the lush greenery was just as beautiful. One unexpected surprise was the number of fruit trees in the garden. We were delighted to see a variety of fruit trees throughout the gardens. It was a unique and enjoyable experience that we didn't expect to find in a botanical garden. The garden's dog-friendly policy was also a plus, and we enjoyed seeing other people walking their pets. The park was peaceful and serene, and we appreciated the opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of the city for a while.Overall, while the botanical gardens in Orange may not have had the traditional autumn colours we were expecting, we found the lush greenery and abundance of fruit trees to be a wonderful surprise. It's definitely worth visiting if you're in the area and looking for a peaceful place to take a walk, especially if you're a dog owner.

Beautiful and close to the city centre. In autumn they have a few bunch of very beautiful colorful trees but the rest are mostly native and evergreen. Not sure about the spring flowers

Pretty decent spot for a relaxing stroll, and feels bigger than it is. The grounds are somewhat hilly and the paths are mostly gravel, so not great for jogging. It’s not near any shops so there’s no place to pick up a coffee or a bite unless you plan ahead. Ample parking.

What a beautiful botanic gardens! We didn't have time to see it all, but I loved the thoughtful collections. I especially loved the rosacea collection, the apple and pear orchard with windmill and the weeping elm. I look forward to seeing more next time. Plenty of spots to sit and enjoy. Bathroom facilities and cafe nearby. Looking forward to visiting again.

Not very big with a small pond, the cafe is not open when we visited on Saturday in April 2023.

It's a relaxed place. My family and I spent 5 hours here and didn't even realise it.
