My son needed help changing a booking and the young woman at checkin was dismissive and completely unhelpful. She appeared to be very occupied texting on her mobile phone. Thankfully the gentleman at the next check in counter called my son over and sorted the issue out quickly and professionally. I hope someone reads this and either offers customer service training and/or looks at the recruitment strategy. One star for madame and 5 stars for the hero.

Renovated and very clean. Parking adjacent to the terminal with 30 mins free parking. Fast efficient service. The airport is also very clean with excellent check in facilities for Qantas and Virgin who fly to Sydney and Brisbane.

Travel through Port Macquarie airport on weekly basis due to work. Nice and modern airport. Only one thing - the security was over zealous with their work - I got pat down almost every time I walked past the whole body scan, I got swabbed every single time. But free wifi was a nice touch as the reception is always non-existent there

Small, yet clean and effective airport. Staff were friendly and understanding. The food available appeared to be quite expensive, but this is expected for airports.

Worst Security at any airport I experienced literally pulled me over for a Kit Kat wrapper like what was going to do on a plane and I was treated so poorly literally but otherwise the airport is quite nice for a regional airport

Nice regional airport. A little confusing as to how to return car rental keys, arrivals is sectioned off from departure due to Covid, but airport staff were helpful. Expect temp check and screening on arrival.

The staff always friendly and helpful.The coffee shop needs a rethink on what they sell and pricing. Being the only venue on site not real good! Having the monopoly they are being complacent.Since the upgrade the airport has improved by leaps and bounds.

Sadly, I forgot to put a lock on my checked-in luggage and some baggage handler appropriated my Apple AirPods that I had packed inside a shoe . Nothing else was missing but lesson learned - lock your luggage. Find my device tells me the AirPods never left Port Macquarie. Very disappointed.
