About the Business

Howitt Park | Howitt Park is a park for enjoyment and sport and caters for all ages. For the younger children is has an adventure park and during the summer months Little Athletics take place on its athletics oval. Football is played on the main oval with male and female junior and senior competitions taking place. Rowing is another feature of the parks sporting bodies with regular social rowing every Sunday morning.

Great park with an awesome walking trail, giant slide and mtb pump track. Food vans where also at the site for dinner options

Lovely grass park with easy access and parking. Swing bridge over the creek takes you to the botanical gardens and they have a Sunday market every 4th week.

It's a good spot. On the Northern side of the highway there is a kids tube slide, flying fox, playground and toilets (all up on the hill). Lake Waddie Cafe heading East from the playground. Plenty of trees down near the river for a shady lunch or rest. Old bmx track and a boat ramp nearby. Often there are food vendors parked here. The local market is held here once a month.

Good stop for lunch. Free BBQs tables and heaps of parking. Can walk over the bridge to Botanic gardens

This is one of the best playgrounds I've been to in a while, the massive yellow slippery slide was great, it had a flying fox, both big and small and also all the regular playground stuff. There are toilets there which were quite clean.

Nice park with play area for kids by a creek. Play area has swings, bbq, zip line and an amazing tunnel shaped slide.
