I really enjoyed these Bot Gardens. When I travel I always make an effort to see the local Gardens. It is a quiet place to relax right next to the main port and a very short walk from town. While there I decided to do a spot of yoga on the well managed lawns. Well done Portland.

Easy 20 minutes walk around the gardens. The dahlias were beautiful. A little river runs along one side and it was so clear and blue.

Lovely small Botanical Gardens. Beautiful array of roses aswell as many other flowers in bloom. Has a Crochet Grass in centre that can’t be walked on but makes for a lovely green centre piece. A few areas require a bit more upkeep but was still a lovely public free garden.

A great place to have a look and wonder through. Good array of plants through out. A worthwhile place to have a walk through or to even have a seat and rest.

I visited in late Summer and the gardens were beautiful. Quite a variety of colourful blooms, a few trails here and there, (though it's a mid-sized park) and just generally a beautiful place to visit. If you want a longer walk, head out and wander along the canal. I'd suggest parking on Cliff street to enter.

I planned to just take a stroll, but was stunned by the beautiful Dahlia flower sea. It's a lovely botanical garden and definitely worth a visit.

Such a delightful garden to visit, filled with a beautiful dahlia display, one of the best I have ever seen. The croquet lawn is spectacular, with the roses that surround it. Charming in every sense.

Lovely place to wonder and a beautiful place with many amenities around. It is relatively a small garden, but It was actually a pleasant surprise. A little river runs along one side. The water was nice and clear. No entrance fees. So many lovely photo opportunities. I never had an issue finding it in Portland. Another added feature to this spectacular water land. Suggest you pay a visit. I really enjoyed it.Catch me @volarphotography ;)

Strolling around in dismal drizzle was delightful. Croquet green was in use. Well labled flora and a suprisingly gorgeous salt water creek at the end. Satisfying 90 minute slow explore of the place. A lot of love has gone into the place.
