Grampians National Park
What an amazing place in Victoria! Lived in Melbourne for 9 years and this was our first visit. These are photos of the Pinnacle hike. 4.2 km. An easy walk if you are fit, I am not, therefore it was a struggle going up. But so glad I did it!

A guaranteed place to have a good hiking and climbing, great views. You will need to camp there for few day to be able to see all the amazing locations and lookouts, there are plenty of accommodations in halls gap which are great. Some hikes are easy and can be completed by all family members and others are hard and need good level of fitness and healthy knees ;)

If hiking is your thing, this is definitely not one to miss for both beginners and experts alike. Comfortable as a family activity too.- Hiking difficulty: Easy- Number of trails: >3- Hiking distance: avg 2-3km (one-way trip)- Highlights: Lookout point at the Pinnacle for a 180 view of the National Park and beyond (even better during sunrise/sunset)- Weather: Visited during fall (mid-Mar). Rather cold at the base esp (10-13°C) but warm during the hike, esp when the sun is out.

Many areas are closed off: considered to be to dangerous. Why can people not judge their own ability and take responsibility for their own doing? Still very beautiful to visit...

I hiked from Roses Gap Rd to Halls Gap. The tracks are pretty well maintained. The facilities at the designated camp site are the best I've seen anywhere. The views and environment are great.
