Beautiful place to visit. Great for people who want to explore 4WD and off road tracks. We’ll maintained public toilets and bathrooms rooms with hot water showers and soap. Brand new facility and super clean. Hats off to the cleaners, Victoria parks and the council for providing this kind of facility to the visitors.

The campsites at horseshoe bend are great. Even has a flushing toilet. Paid sites. Not too busy outside of school holidays.Most roads have deep sand and are 4X4 only. Plenty of kangaroos and wallabies around

Spacious camping area at Kiata camground with well maintained drop toilets. Lovely tranquil environment with great walking tracks.Stayed this kings bday long weekend and plenty of space unlike other campgrounds that fill up.

it's a desert. it's little. very little facilities inside desert (as expected), most campsites do not have water or toilets, come prepared!

I dont have a fully equipped 4wd any more. My AWD Tuscon got me to several places around the desert. With a stay at Dimboola Camping in excellent conditions and a great stay at Lake Ratzcastle. Both dog friendly. Just a note. Have plenty of water and your own wood for lake Ratzcastle.

A beautiful place to visit with plenty of wild flowers in spring. There are some trails of Emus and Kangaroos on several lovely short walks

Little Desert National Park
Spent 2 days here and never saw another car, i guess with it's big brother not far away this little desert might get overlooked. Well worth the adventure. Didn't need to air down the sand was sticky due to the time of year. Easy enough to avoid the large mud holes in the road so a modest 4wd will get you there.
