Do not book an electrical course here.The “teacher” does not mark your course (4.5months and waiting) and does not reply to emails or phone calls. After complaining to the Tafe themselves I still have not heard a reply and left in limbo. The course, the teacher and the punctuality of the college are a disgrace.If you’re planning on doing your contractors go with CET they are worth the wait!

Do not study cert 4 English Employment course here.Worst Teachers.Had very bad experiences.

The instructors here are a blessing for the community.Some of them have been teaching here for 25 years, 3000 students per year.First Nations, one of the first cultures in this planet, first astronomers to put in context, spreading their wisdom, passing their knowledge to others.Younger generations, absorbing knowledge, to build a better future for them, their community...How many families were blessed for the dedication of these instructors, coming from every land in this planet.How can a person be achieve such hight in knowledge and dedication to share that with all of us.Teaching trades that will help the students themselves, the community, the State , the Country?Aren't more stars available for this place?God Bless this place, these people!Namaste!

REALLY REALLY UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDEits now been 5months trying to get a response from the head co-ordinater of the electrotechnology department regarding commencing my apprenticeship or a lecturer. Ive tried contacting other teachers for help but same scenario. Ive been into the campus a few times and still no help. I received an email stating a response will get back to me asap and been told by the lady who picked up the phone that someone will get back to me a numerous times.I really feel that the staff is letting my future down and really are not concerned in students welfare. I wish that THORNLIE campus could really pick up there game and be on a more professional level like the other campuses.the lectures beside a few really lack on being professional, they have knowledge but dont have patience, and dont seem to enjoy teaching.Made a call the other day and was put through to a main lecture in charge in the Certificate III in Electrotechnology sector and felt very rudely spoken too and was treated like i was an idiot because he didnt know how to use a computer and was frustrated with it.Something is missing in the minds of some lectures and I think its called CARE FACTOR.I will change this review when I see changes

The administrative staff were very unfriendly and unhelpful when I assisted my friend with her enrollment. By contrast the staff at the Rockingham TAFE were outstanding when I enrolled my daughter the following day.

I am currently a student here. One of my lecturers are superb and I feel very lucky to have her, the others that I have, shouldn't be playing the role of teaching at all.Now that I am trying to enrol for my second semester, I was told to give them a call by the polytechnic west main office (number on website), however, I did that, and who i was told to speak to cannot give me course fees or any information at all, and says that they can only give them to me at the time of enrolment (when I walk in to the campus, not call). I have previously had trouble with payments as well and was just hand balled from one place to another. Online fees were not accurate at all and I ended up paying over $1000 more than expected, just for one semester.I feel like this place needs much better organisational skills.

I completed the coursework and classroom training portion of my Heavy Duty Diesel Technician apprenticeship here over a decade ago. The lecturers were extremely knowledgeable, accommodating, friendly, and professional. The facilities were comprehensive, well equipped, and well-maintained.Thornlie itself may be on the lower end of the socio-economic scale, but I never heard of any crime at all on the campus in the four years I attended.

Got to say the college needs a good renovation but I did a course there with the lecture Peter codalonga (electrical contractor course) and I have to say I have never come to a course more motivated and happy than this and all because of him!! He was very well knowledgeable with a great sense of humour and I could tell that everyone came to class happy even though the course was quite intense (at least for me). I’d give him 10/10 and 4/10 to the installations...

Very biased and racist lecturers in early childhood education. She accused me of cheating and copying my classmates work when I dont even speak to them and basically had to change my entire assignment. Do yourself a favour and go study elsewhere its not worth it.
