Kent Street Weir Park
Great place to go with family and friends for a bbq, for swimming, outdoor activities, to chill and read, also there is place for kids play, a train that does small way on 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month, also there is a coffee shop close to grab something to eat or drink, but there is a huge area with three and shade, around 4, 5 bbq with shade too.

An absolutely delightful visit. The Riverside area keeps getting reviewed and improved. Last time J was down there weren't any BBQ's, they look great, and in assuming they're free.Just be careful because this time of year there's a lot of bulk ants around in the area, and these guys really pack a punch!

Very relaxing and very pleasant place. Dogs can be taken and are allowed in the cafe which is all open. If you have a kayak or small boat you can paddle on the river, and go for lovely walks once you walk over the bridge. A delightful place on a sunny day.

Kent Street Weir Park
There were quite a lot of people near the parking areas before lunch. During lunch time, people were more scattered around in the open ground near the river.There were some wildlife birds, esp White Cockatoos flying around looking for food, and some people having fun kayaking too!Great views as from the bridge over to the other side with different paved and unpaved walkways.The flow of people going over the bridge and the walkways were consistent with the mild weather to immerse in the beauty of the natural environments.

Kent st Canning River Cafe and dog area is amazingly pretty, quiet and peaceful. Can be social or a spot to get away at walking over the bridge through the woodlands for a river walk. Doggo area has been positive each time :)

Great place to go for a walk with your fur baby or kids/children. You can see lots of native birds and plants. There is a lovely cafe and playground as well. There is a on lead and off lead dog area. Great from all things outdoors from a canoe or even just a picnic with the family.
