This is a great walk. I started at lower car park. I recommend some good shoes as the walking trail is very uneven is a lot of places. If you are a bit unsteady on your feet walking poles are also a good addition. There are no toilet facilities at lower car park. There are toilet facilities at top car park. Great views, good walk. Very little water when i went. It would be spectacular after good rain.

Beautiful walk, lots of little tracks running next to the stream. I went in mid june after a lot of rain and it was amazing. Dog friendly, but a few dogs were off the leads. Parking was extremely difficult as road works were in progress and apparently rangers were ticketing cars although there was only verge parking available. No toilets at this particular track. We opted to go right at the entry fork and not left up the muddy embankment this time. The waterfalls were in full swing and the flowers were pretty. The ruins were still visible and up the top of the track after crossing the small concrete bridge. We didnt complete the full track but will def come back to do the full track. A lil steep in places but not too bad. Good footwear reccomended.

The great thing about hiking around the Scarp is that you can choose the amount of exercise you get. Go along a contour and you only have to climb as far as the road you started from. Go up and down a bit and you can start and end at the same place but get hundreds of metres of altitude change!

Went on a spontaneous hike today with my sister at Mundy Regional Park. It was a beautiful and refreshing location, we didn’t feel like we were only 20mins from the city! We walked the Whistlepipe Gully trail which is a scenic 3.5km track, mainly alongside a picturesque stream. There were a few steep and rocky sections so we enjoyed the added cardio. Highly recommend!

Great place to take the dog for a walk. The walk is a short but very beautiful walk up the hill following the stream. Some incredible views back towards the city on the downward journey.Been some improvements over winter. Much clearer path and replaced old wooden bridge.

Whistle pipe Gully is a great place to walk, take the dog, have a picnic, or just sit and read on a rock by the river. There's water in the river in Autumn, it's an easy walking track, and you get a great view of the city of Perth.

Fantastic park to explore with stunning scenery and sweeping landscapes. A short stroll takes you to a beautiful waterfall that allows you to get up close and personal. The walking paths are easy to navigate and require a moderate level of fitness but are certainly very suitable for families and couples.
