Maylands Foreshore Reserve

Beautiful river views and lots of varied birds to watch. Well maintained with good facilities.

Maylands Foreshore Reserve is beautiful parkland on the Foreshore of the Swan River in Maylands. It’s an excellent place to take a walk with the dog, or a relaxing picnic with friends or family & the kids to run around.It also has a kids playground with sand pit plus two (2) free bbq’s & picnic table & chairs.You’ll find plenty of shady tree’s if in summer time & you’ll see an abundance of wildlife & birds including Pelicans on many occasions in the wetlands on the river foreshore.In summer with it being close to the river it would be wise to take some mosquito repellent as they can sometimes be fairly persistent.The Park is actually located next to the Maylands Waterland and in the same spot as the first & original Perth Airport which opened in 1924..

Great spot for young families. Water play and normal playground. May need to take some of your own shade.

Great water park for most ages. I have a 9 month old, 2 year old, 7 year old and 10 year old and they all had a great time exploring and playing at this water park.

Great for kids during the hoy weather to cool down and play with water. Also good for little kids parties with BBQ facilities, toilets etc.Can highly recommend it!

Mayland water play is great for little kids and toddlers. It's has shade cover so u won't get sunburn even on a hot hot day

Nice kids loved it great spot for a kids party or picnic look out for old creepy men though

Maylands Waterpark is good for families with smaller children. A lot of trees for shade etc, BBQ available. Lots of fun and a wide space to play in. My only downfall is how far the time and travel is to get there for its worth. Definitely more suited to those living closer or IN Perth City.

What a lovely place for children to play. Water activities and great play equipment. We had our grandson's birthday party there and there was plenty of room to run around..... burn off the party food
