Hillview Public Golf Course

It is a very good environment for children but the Guinness steak pie was very salty. Every ones meal was salty.

We did play today on this golfcourse. The rate was A$ 30.00 which is not expensive. But the course was in very bad condition. On the second nine holes, there were all the time all sprinklers working. So for nearly every shot, you had to see that you are not getting wet. For the first nine holes it took us 2 hours and 15 Minutes as in front of us a foursome was soooo slow. There was no Ranger to speed up the play. It was the worst course we playdes so far in Australia. I am a Golf Club assistent manager from Switzerland. So I know what I can excpect from a golf course.

Course in good condition, Friday's often overbooked and no course marshal to maintain pace of play. Green fees are similar compared to other local courses.Good challenge for the regular player.

Had a good day out. Played the heritage then the classic. Used the single person golf cart which is cool. Definitely a good thing to have. Staff were friendly and just a grwat atmosphere overall

Course was in great condition, but greens had just been cored and sanded.Must be straight off the tee as there are some difficult lines off the fairways.A very pretty course in places comprising 3 × 9hole courses.

This a good public golf course with 27 holes. Fairways and greens are in good condition. Pro shop and tavern are well priced

My partner and I are fairly new to golf, this was our first time playing 18 holes and we were very excited. Unfortunately, we were treated absolutely terribly. No guidance or assistance when in the main office, but off we went to work out how to put all our research into practice. After the first hole and the group behind us shouting things at us, the employee came over and said there had been a complaint. He aggressively told us that we were unable to share clubs (which we didn’t know and were happy to fix) and that we need to pick up the pace. We explained that we were new to golf and apologise for holding anyone up and happy to let others play through to complete a quieter 9 hole course to begin with. He responded aggressively again with no solutions but we just need to play better and faster, as we are holding up people in competitions behind us. So disappointing that instead of assisting us in doing the right thing so everyone ends up happy, he obviously only values the other players and treated us like a nuisance and raising his voice at us. This experience has definitely confirmed we will never return to HillView Golf Course. We are all paying customers and deserve to be respected, intimidating and scaring off potential new business and players is not the way to grow your business. We left after playing just the first hole, with a bad taste in our mouth and a wasted $90.

Had a awesome family golf day. Everybody on the course were absolutely lovely. There is even a beer cart that comes around while your on the course

9 holes for a casual Saturday morning session. All abilities were playing. Well kept greens, fairways, tees and even the rough is in good condition.The course has a club house shop and bar, which served well priced food and drink.I Washed away my poor effort on the course with a cold beer and enjoyed the ambience.
