A great airport with an easy approach for student pilots, Jandakot airport is electric aircraft friendly with a charge station on the Northern Apron at Cloud Dancer Pilot Training. There is also a full time electric trainer aircraft and demonstrator available for student pilots and for recreational hire. There are heaps of other great aviation services on the aprons too.

Jandakot airport has changed very little since 1967.Ok, one parallel runway extra.Still a very busy secondary airport, however despite the abundance of training aircraft movements, nothing is open. Not even a coffee shop.

The public viewing area is a great place to take the kids for some free entertainment. Public toilets and a cafe are there aswell

An excellent picnic location on a Monday as many planes and choppers land and takeoff repeatedly (due to training sessions). The big open spaces with Pavillion, benches and public toilets made it a perfect choice for a relaxing morning out with preschoolers on a winter morning in June

Brilliant they have a grassed area with picnic tables and you can get a snack or lunch at the nearby Cafe and sit and watch the aircraft take off and land first visited this place in 1979 and it much bigger than it was back then
