Good turf wicket with fast outfield. Only on-street parking available with very limited availability. Nice outdoor gym available in one corner of the park.

This park is a off leash dog park as well as sports oval. It's large enough to not be in each others faces but unfortunately the toilets were closed each time I was there and some silly people were letting off fireworks IN THE DAY! -10 for intelligence.I don't have a dog I have a drone so it was great training ground for my needs.

Look, it's a fine park in the basic sense. Good size, cricket nets, soccer goals. Would be five stars of it were safe at night for women and didn't double as a swamp in winter.

The park itself is not much to write home about unless you need to walk a dog or play soccer on the weekends. However, there are regular community events held here, including movie nights, so keep an eye out for the posters displayed locally.

Mayer park is a vibrant green community space right next to a huge slab of inner north green space that is normally only open to club members, a 'public' golf course in Northcote that was opened up to the actual public in the second lock down in Melbourne. I had never been there even though I've lived in the North for 30 years. It was amazing to see so much green space being used by so many community members and sad to think that it would be closed again for the exclusive use of the few to wander around hitting small white balls.

Great local park. Off lead park for dogs if no sporting events are on, with a great local presence of people and dogs alike! Recently returfed so grass is beautifully refreshed. Could do with all round fencing to protect dogs from the busy road on Normanby Ave. Summer twilight open air cinema the highlight of the season!

On a saturday afternoon when the soccer is on, you can smell the gyros spit from miles away. Delicious!!
