About the Business

The Grange Reserve - City of Kingston | The Grange Reserve commemorates a momentous day in local, and universe, history. The UFO themed park was designed in honour of an event that took place on the morning of April 6, 1966 when at least 90 students and teachers witnessed three 'flying saucers' hovering over their school oval. One of the craft landed at the current location of the park.

The Grange Reserve
Beautiful native Heath flora and fauna. Plenty of play areas, sheltered bbq and seating areas with an array of wooden sculptures and plentiful pine trees and cones. Bordering a golf course and with an enclosed Heath walking trail. It’s not uncommon to spot a blue tongue lizard soaking up the morning sun. Most gorgeous and spacious park in the area. Home to the Westall UFO sightings!

What a great themed playground! Fun for the kids and the family. Really good facilities and a great walk through The Grange too. Possibly could do with a little spruce up, but that’s just a minor thing. Great parking and an amazing story to go along with it too!

I always enjoy a stroll through the reserve. The location is in the middle of a bustling suburb, yet when in the midst of the native bushland, you would think you are out in the country somewhere.

It is a great place to take the kids for a play in the park or the family for a walk in the natural bushland reserve. Parking bbqs and toilets available. It also has a rich, interesting history from the 1960s.

So much fun with that unique UFO playground equipment! Lots of fascinating playground equipment can be found in this park.There are also restrooms and BBQ facilities.Great park!

UFO themed kids playground, based on a famous UFO sighting nearby! No kidding! Well made UFO saucer thing to climb into and fiddle the controls - with two slides going down. Plenty of other play things around, and 4-5 benches and public toilets

Great playground for the kids with some awesome history. Bit of a weird smell, not sure if from toipets on sight.
