Karkarook Park

Lovely lake you can walk around including a short bridge to walk over. Some nice wild life to see. Horse paddock nearby too. Great for picnic and kids as there is a playground, toilets and bbq facilities.

I came here many times. This place became one of my favourite park.

If you're looking for a calm evening getaway, go for it. Has got several small patches of water, lots of birds and green green trees all over. The park is so neat too. Very well maintained.

Ideal for a quick break from the buzz of suburbia. Good for a quick walk and a picnic. There are snake alerts all over the lake trail so be careful.

It's a beautiful recreational and wetland area! There's a huge lake which is a good spot for a variety of recreational activities such as canoeing, kayaking, sailing, etc. It's also a good spot for fishing in the designated zones. The lake is surrounded by a large asphalt walking track which is ideal for walking, running and cycling. On the Warrigal Road side of the road there are trails that run through the wetlands which is a good spot for bird watching.The park is perfect for picnic with family and friends. There are multiple open areas with barbecues and picnic tables. There's also a playground for the kids and public toilets. In addition, there's an observation tower that overlooks the lake which is a great spot for taking photos. The park is easily accessible and there's a parking area onsite. I highly recommend visiting this park!

This is a peaceful place to walk. There are plenty of picnic tables and a few gazebos adding a special touch. The walks lead on to the lake shore. There are a few boardwalks for lookout. Good place for kids with the playground.

Although it may look hidden as you drive past, within the park you will find a wonderful lake, fishing spots, large areas to kick a ball around or run with your dog, and several picnic spots! Lovely open park to spend the weekend with family and friends!

A great park that is suitable for peaceful walks and picnics. can get busy during holidays bur normally fairly quiet. Also great for paddleboarding SUP or kayaks in the water. has a dock and a sheltered beach. Definitely worth a walk when you want a peaceful stroll.
