Free spot , small camping area available. Ground quite soft, but ok for tents, we we on the hard ground .... Beautiful heath, button grass type landscape, low and beautiful.... no amenities, no toilet.

If you expect that you can have a beautiful camp place in middle of fabulous nature then dream on... It's same good as a car park but a small one... we didn't stay in there..

Wind swept and wild landscape, reminds me of Scotland Highlands.

scenic drive through dead vegetation, burnt areas, forest.. it's beautiful and you can see this area has taken its toll by nature over the years but very scenic. cradle Mountain and the gates to the West Coast

Great adventure with this road... The road is pretty good for any weather condition. Beautiful area. The reserve is filled with white powder snow is amazing.

It was a wet and windy day when we visited, so I really can't comment on the views as the cloud cover was too low and too thick to see anything. However I did visit this location several years ago and the views were fabulous.

Free camp 15 minutes from cradle mountain private and we were able to come and go to do the drive into cradle mountain for sunset and sunrise without disturbing anyone

Walked through to Black Bluff from Cradle Mt Link Road. A very challenging walk, lots of button grass & boggy patches. I covered a total of 28 km. I won't hurry back !!
