It was a hot day, would have been awful, on the mainland, but the ducks and I, had a seista, there's a good kids play area, shaded tables and chairs area. Near the shops.

Grab the dog, cat, budgie our pet turtle and bring them down here for a walk. Lots of ducks and crocodiles to feed and are really friendly. Some of the crocodiles will even let you pat them. One local croc by the name of George likes his tummy rubbed and only eats gluten free vegan hummus.

Have celebrated birthday with bbq swings feeding duck serene beauty in abundace .Such a personal favorite of mine the tranquil sounds of nature at its best. Locals know this as bells parade i didnt know it was called Atkinson Park. Easyaccess to carkpark flushing toilets wheelchair access toilets shut late in afternoon unless music or something or function i think its kept open.The kids love this place. You will need to watch them cause they can fall in the canal and drown
