Always a special place for so many over the years where our Gawler Anzac March concludes with a Service of Remembrance on the Sunday prior to the Adelaide March. The Australian Light Horse never fail to draw both young and old and their presence is very much appreciated.The Dawn Service then held at Pioneer Park 25th April is possibly the biggest outside of Adelaide.

This is a very typical park. Lots of cool events are held here to make it more appealing. There is lots of food restaurants around the park so when you getting a bit peckish you don’t have to travel too far for a snack. The park has unfortunately no public bathrooms so you need to walk if you need to go. The park has lots of natural vegetation which provides lots of shade to sit under when it gets hot. At the entrance of the park there is a cool hand sculpture not sure what it’s meant to represent but it looks cool.
