Weigall Oval Reserve
Right next to the Westside bikeway trail this recent development of the Weigall Oval sports complex has so much room for dogs to safely run and play.Do pick your time of day tho as there is little shade.There are 3 sports fields to choose from, a fully fenced soccer pitch, a baseball field and another large playing area.All very well maintained with gardens, bench seats, covered picnic tables, 2 Car parks, an Outdoor Gym, Tennis courts, Toilet and unfenced playground equipment.We went in the morning shared the fields with 6 other dogs and never got close. Kit found a baseball and tennis ball, so a good walk

Lovely new, bright, spacious, clubhouse.Nice grounds with places for children to run around.And plenty of parking,also a bar.

Weigall Oval Reserve
Lovely open area with playgrounds and sports facilities. Baseball season ending and soccer season firing up. Very popular with local dog walkers.

BBQ facilities very poorly maintained. BBQ plate fat drain attracting European wasps.Council have failed to empty it and it’s overflowing.

Weigall Oval Reserve
Best place to have a kids birthday party. All amenities are available. Safe toilets, plenty of drinking fountains with a low water spout for pooches. Lots of shady areas and barbecues. Had a great time today. Playgrounds are fantastic

Weigall Oval Reserve
The three fields are really well looked after. They have a baseball diamond, a soccer pitch and combined field that is used for either baseball or soccer depending on the season. It's a public area so lots of dog walkers and people exercising. There's also a playground behind the clubhouse with plenty of activities for kids.

Weigall Oval Reserve
We love the new play space, can barely recognise since it has been upgraded. Can't wait for trees to grow and provide some shade over the play ground. Pity the beautiful mature trees needed to be removed to make way for the redevelopment. But it's a really nice play ground, sport and grass area. Have a hit of a tennis ball on the courts or shoot some hoops. Bring your dog to stretch it's legs on the oval. Great space for all.
