Victoria Square / Tarntanyangga
Great, grassy square in the centre of the city with loads of events going on throughout the year. Recently attended the Tasting Australia event and despite the rain and cold, there were plenty of heaters and cover.

Victoria Square (known as Tarntanyangga) is the central square of five public squares in the Adelaide city centre. Various activities are often held here. Especially on Christmas day, the huge and beautiful light Christmas tree is very attractive. The three rivers fountain at the south end of the square is also wonderful. It's very convenient to take bus and tram here.

It's a very nice square, it has a huge Christmas tree near Christmas and it has a big wonderful fountain on the other end. There are restrooms available, bins, cameras and an A.E.D is there as well.

Vic Square at Christmas time is great! Check out the big tree, lights and water show. Nice open space. You'll need to visit around 830pm to see the Christmas tree light up. Music is played from this time as well.

Christmas lighting is nice. The tree is nicely lit, and it plays music! Family friendly atmosphere with kids enjoying themselves playing in the water fountain. Warm weather. Groomed grass.

Massive open area with lots of seating and two fountains. The place is often used for major events like the tour down under and taste sa. The fountain is lit up at night and people often walk through it. The place is well lit at night.

This is one of the places where I show my love for Adelaide, maybe with just a few minutes looking at the city after work. The water is still flowing, the trees are still green, the flow of people is passing, the traffic is busy at rush hour... Everything comes and goes as the eternal law of creation.Let me love you in my own way, Adelaide.
