Centennial Park Cemetery

Grew up next to here. Every weekend at high school drinking with the bum crew by the pond.Best years of my life probably.But nearly 20years on, this place is incredible. Seriously considering a reunion with them all before we become full time residents. ;)It did come with its hiccups. The gates were about to close basically dark. Car battery was dead. No lights left on. Made no sense.Then I remembered. THE DUCK!The wolf in sheeps clothing. ... . TBC.

My mother passed away 18 months ago and my father just one month ago. I would like to thank the staff at Alfred James and the administration of CP for their empathetic help and support with organising the funeral, cremation and burying of their ashes. They were very compassionate, professional and extremely helpful with accommodating our needs at this sad and emotional time. The catering company provided a lovely afternoon tea for my mother, but the service and provisions for my fathers afternoon tea were significantly below our expectations with much less assistance provided making tea or coffee for some elderly relatives and the quantity of food provided sufficient for 20 people not the 30 booked and paid for. The manager was unfortunately adamant and unable to compromise and acknowledge that the service and provisions were substandard compared to my mothers afternoon tea and I therefore will not be utilising the catering service here again. Thank you again to everyone else who made this sad time memorable.

Centennial Park is more just a Cemetery. There are lots of hidden gardens and reflection pools for quiet contemplation.Nice place to take some time and have a quiet strollDogs are allowed on lead.Shiny new Wildflowers Café. very professional staff and nice coffee..

Beautiful place , my great grandparents are there, emailed them to find out cost of renewal and they were very nice to tell me when lease up who holds lease and cost. Which allows me to incase not renewed be able to do it for them in future. Also gave me cost to make it a forever lease hoping in time be able to do that for my great nanny and poppy. Thank you staff for being very helpful so I can ensure there rest place stays there.

Such a beautiful cemetery, fitting for all circumstances and affordable. Our family has used the services over a decade and although staff have changed, still remains consistently and utmost professional and cater for the needs.

Not the nicest place to visit, if you know what i mean, but if you have to say goodbye to a friend or loved one, this place and it’s staff make it very comfortable for you

A beautiful garden cemetery. This cemetery has a SALA in the park outdoor exhibition of sculptures during SALA and they have purchased a number of them so there are lovely sculptures scattered around this massive cemetery. There are lots of lovely garden areas, a creek running through and lots of birds and some wildlife including a family of turtles. There are lots of nice areas to walk around or sit and reflect. They now have a cafe as well which would be a nice place to go whether visiting a loved one or after a service.

The photos I posted were from a Sala exhibition, which is a wonderful idea and way to engage with the community. But we only found 7-12, and there was no evident way to a) get a guide from an office or stand or B) snap a QR code to take us somewhere. I think a clear office or reception for non-ceremony visitors would be ideal. We might have had a boy look" but
