A stunning hike through bushland to a secret camping ground. Peaceful and splendid surroundings. Lot's of stairs coming down that need to be climbed up to ascend.

Very peaceful place to stop and take in Springbrook national Park. The toilets are good and the crocodile log is by far the best part about this place

A nice park in Springfield near by to tourist attractions ,there are coved picnic area,Bar-b-que,and toilets.There is a a old narrly tree I believe the park is named after it

Apple Tree Park
It's crazy to think how close the Gold Coast is to such amazing trails and mountains. Yes the beach is what it's known for but to be a small drive away from Apple Tree and Springbrook is a godsend.I highly recommend this place if you're into trail running or just keen to explore nature. Plenty of stairs and it'll lead into some pretty epic waterfalls! I've been a few times now and it gets better every time!

Our starting place of our first hike to the Woonoongoora walkers camp which was just a beautiful stay. Quite steep walk but so much to appreciate on the way and so worth it both ways.
