Norman Buchan Park
A sound playground with a creative use of bridging between obstacles. The nautical theme plays on the whimsy of a life at sea; inspiring scenarios involving piracy and swashbuckling. The sprung, play-car with two steering wheels may lack practical accuracy but remains true to the form and provides adequate entertainment for the creative mind of a child. By far, the standout would be the robust construction and intuitive design of the swing set. By providing a rigid seating base, the designer has encouraged flexibility within the participants mind rather than relying on a pliable seat base. A much more socially sustainable outcome - 4 stars.

Nice big park in a bit of a valley - so it does flood at times. It has a playground and a couple of tables in the shade and a BBQ. Seems pretty popular with dogs but there's never been heaps when I've been there and all the people there are locals so they are very friendly.

It is a great park for socializing with other people and your can take your dog. In the afternoon there can be up to 20 dogs there, also has 2 parks for kids to play in. On Sunday you can visit the markets there and I recommend visiting the Brathaus, they have great hotdogs.

Nice park for kiddies to play, dogs to run off leash (it’s not fenced though) and exercise. On Sundays a nice little farmers market springs in with tasty breaky options.Ah, good open flat and round grass area for cricket.

Quality dog park with plenty of room to roam. Good supply of poo bags on site and two water bowls.

I go there for the Sunday Markets which are fabulous! Good quality goods on offer and although small, I never go away empty handed with something I hadn't intended to buy! Very friendly and really nice atmosphere - doggie friendly. What a treat just before Christmas when the markets where actually in the corner under the trees. Great utilization of a lively neighbourhood park!

One of my favourite parks - nice and spacious and easy to access from each side. There is a great market that takes place on weekends. The playground is great as well. Can grab a coffee nearby at Goodfolk Cafe as well. They’ve got toilet facilities and there’s even a free weight gym!

It would be nice to have some park benches for people to sit and enjoy the park!

It's a nice little park, good for the dog to run around, just needs a few more shaded spots
