Colmslie Recreation Reserve
State of the art sports facility. Including field hockey, cricket and swimming to name a few. At the hockey venue there is a canteen and for bigger events there is usually a specialist food vendor or two. The field is a water based synthetic turf. Plenty of parking available with disabled access. The toilets are well maintained. A good venue all round.

Nice park.Good double width boat ramp with pontoon on the Brisbane River. Very popular.4 large covered picnic tables. Small sandy beach. Dog park facilities.Don't rely on BBQ facilities. Went there to have a BBQ & only 1 of 2 electric BBQ hot plates were working & very very slow & located under a tree & subject to bird droppings as family before us found out when their food cooking got bombed!Cruise ship departed nearby which was fun to watch at low tide.People fish off the jetty though wouldn't recommend eating anything caught from the river.Toilet onsite

Great place for a relaxing afternoon. Its good place to go fishing or taking out the boat as there is a boat ramp. Its even a good place to take yours kids as there is a playground even a place to take yours dogs. Only down side there is a limited spots for car parking

Great place to hang out, go fishing, watch boats/jet skis come in and go out. Great views of the river and gateway bridge. Large lawn area for picnic. Bbq and undercover tables and seating. Toilets. Limited parking.Dog park, small playground.

Love this place, go here nearly every morning to exercise in the heated pool in the aquatic centre. Great place to check out a viwe of the gateway Bridge whilst launching a boat into the Brisbane River.

Great spot, lots of boaties, fishermen and kayakers launching and, usually a coffee van. Also a good shady dog park. Small beach with little waves too.

I had no idea this park went to the river. Home of swimming/gym , hockey, cricket, rowing, off the leash dog park, picnic area and boat ramp.

Colmslie Recreation Reserve
Go there twice a week. Great staff, so friendly and the pool is well maintained each day. The showers are large enough. Haven't had coffee there yet but the snacks look yummy. Highly recommend this place.
