Moreton Bay council has done a great job cleaning this park up. A few years ago it used to filled with people “camping” permanently. Now it is a neat and tidy park with parking, picnic tables and a children’s playground. The gates are closed nightly. If you want to camp then do the right thing and go to the Lawnton Showgrounds and pay for a spot. A great place to watch the trains go past.

Only stopped here to empty our black and grey water tanks in the caravan. However, there is a lovely shady picnic area, and if we had the time, would have stayed longer.

This is a great place to bring the kids for a play on the swings or better still a picnic.Great place also to just sit and relax or read or meditate plus across the road is a great new water park where the kids can cool off and Mum and Dad can chill.

This is my water fill up station as well as caravaners sewerage emptying pit. Toilet amenities incl. Lovely shady park and the water park is across the main road which is much more fun for the water fun.
