Beautiful lake. There are a lot of picnic tables and BBQ facilities available. The kids play ground is also quite good.

Lovely, quiet spot for a picnic and a walk. Koalas sleeping in the trees, birds, butterflies, tables and shade, BBQ and restroom facilities. No domestic animals permitted.

Beautiful scenery. Lovely place for a picnic. Randomly turned up one day and couldn't see any obvious signs on whether dogs are allowed here so sat down on a picnic rug away from other people and kept him on a 5 metre leash. Didn't take him on any trails or let him go in the water or near other people.Edit: after doing some research online, it does say online that no dogs are allowed on the walking trails

Very peaceful park with great views west to mountains which makes it open to western winds, chilly for picnics winter.

Very peaceful today (Monday, midday) lots of trees, greenery and nice walkways. Lots of car spaces and several places around the water you can stop and walk.

This is a well maintained picnic destination. Very scenic and peaceful. The best thing I enjoyed about Bullocky Rest was the space. There were a lot of people there when we visited but you wouldn't know it as there's enough room to spread out.

Amazing spot - great to catch a sunset on the mountains! The facilities here are excellent with BBQs, play equipment for kids and toilet facilities with plenty of parking. If you setup on 'Peninsula' bit you can enjoy some amazing views around dusk. Hard to believe that your still in Brisbane... Will definitely be back again!

Beautiful spot for fishing and picnicking with friends and family. Lots of shade and seating areas as well as barbecue facilities. Nice kids playground and walking trails too l.
