The Pines Golf Course

Still the best course on the coast, particularly the front nine. Great experience

There is a reason this course is consistently high rated. A fantastic setup with A grade everything. The course is really challenging with par 3's the highlight, outstanding in all ways. Majestic club house and bar too, a perfect way to finish your round. It's a private course so you have to play with a member, or stay at the Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove which can get you a tee time.

Excellent course with great amenities and kangaroos

A beautiful venue for a large gathering, however more accurate roadside signage would be very beneficial for 1st time visitors.

Mint condition! Best greens I've ever putted on, course layout superb and maintained to perfection. Can't think of a better course I've played on....wish I could afford a membership.

I played The Pines on Sep 15th, 2022. The conditions of the course were magnificent. A very challenging course where water can be found quite easily. Be sure to check the layout of every hole before you tee off. There are a few holes where fairways narrow down as water wides, particularly the 10th hole. It is an only members course, the only other way to play is by staying at Sanctuary Cove IHG. The staff is amazing, and I want to emphasize this as they look after you as soon as you arrive. Staff set up the golf car for you, tees, sand, and clubs ready in the car. Unfortunately, there are always exceptions, there is always that guy. He doesn't seem to welcome Hotel guests. He tries really hard to remind you that you are not a member. Pretty sure his name is Mitch. Other than that a stunning experience. After your round, be sure to have a drink at the bar upstairs, the view of the course from there is quite something.P.S.: Enjoy the sound of your driver hitting the ball echoing among the pines.

5 stars all around at the Pines. Top notch practice facilities and a beautiful but challenging and somewhat frustrating course. You really need to be on your game to play well here. The restaurant is amazing and the food is exceptional.
