Had a lovely first visit, enjoyed a traffic free round on Sunday afternoon, a very relaxed 3 and a half hours of banter with one of my son's. So close to Ipswich with a warm country coarse feel.

A very well cared for country golf course. Greens, tees, and fairways are kept well mown and are now at their best due to conscience efforts of the management and grounds keepers. The club house facilities are very comfortable and well managed by welcoming attendants. I recommend a visit to this club.

First nine holes you don't get much of a lie as not much grass in places and very thin in other places. Too many trees also on first nine holes. Back nine are good. Good grass on fairways and not as many trees. Hole 11 bunker needs maintenance as sand is rock hard there.

The 18 hole 72 par course will provide a challenge for the experienced golfer yet can accommodate the learner without too much difficulty.Staff are very friendly and helpful.
