Such a nice peaceful and tranquil location. Been well taken care of by grounds keepers.Huge improvement compared to how it was back in the 90s.

Its include a Japanese garden, a sunken rose garden, a scented garden, and a native fauna reserve. The garden also has a lake, a waterfall, and several walking trails for visitors to explore. The garden hosts various events throughout the year, including the Cherry Blossom Festival in spring, which attracts thousands of visitors. It is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike who are interested in nature, horticulture, and outdoor recreation.

Well maintained Japanese Style Garden. Small collection of emu, kangaroo, wallabies, Koi fish and peacocks. Beautiful grass area for picnic, children's play area and picnic ground outside. Reasonable fee for non residents over the weekend. Children enjoy it a lot here. I would recommend visiting. If possible try for a period with cherry blossom (not free though).

Lots of animals, the peacocks and wallabies and geese were very nice to see. Whilst it was a shame to not have seen the cherry blossoms in season, the rest of the garden was still very scenic with the various waterfalls and other water features.

Beautiful garden. Gets super busy during cherry blossom season, where there’s free shuttle buses and roads closed, food vendors, of course with the entrance fee of $11.75. Would advice to come during non peak season, you get the garden to yourself with the lovely animals here. They closed down a section of the park from the last time I’ve been here (5 years ago), so it’s smaller now.

I always love going to this place but never fails to fill me with joy and peace. From the water to fish to Australian animals. It's everything you need to get back to nature and a breath of fresh air ☺️

I found this beautiful garden, which is the home for different flora and fauna, at Auburn .The free wandering Peacocks, Kangaroos, different colorful fishes, beautiful tropical forest to walk, lovely flowers, greenish lake, free entry and what not.We just went there thinking we would return in 2 hours, but we stayed there for around 4 hours and had left as it was closing time, else we might have been there for more long.

Ideal spot for picnics with young children (food isn't available). Be aware the biggest gate is not the entrance. There is smaller gate nearby with a ticket booth. $7 entry fee. An open air exhibit of Australian animals including wombat and wallaby is on the left of the gate. Pools, ponds and fish make for an enjoyable day in the heat. The garden has a Japanese vibe. BBQ facilities.

Lovely landscaping designs inspired by the Japanese-style gardens! I’ve had a pleasant time here. However, buses to the gardens are infrequent (each hour) and I’ve walked 30 minutes from the train station to get there. Also note there’ll be a $7 entry fee for non-local adults. Beautiful, zen design garden you can’t see anywhere else nonetheless!
