An excellent walk connecting Ronald Street Greenwich to Osborne Street and River road lane cove there is a mix of dirt walkways and platforms with a trickling stream through the middle of the bushland. Kelly Flat is there and it will take a couple of hours to see everything and soak in the atmosphere here.

Beautiful bush walk that’s kid friendly. A little down hill but steps are available. Go on a dry day. No restrooms or benches.

Three cheers to the Lane Cove Bushland Group - this is a very well presented stretch of bushland. It was so poetic I found myself composing a poem. In charcoal upon a piece of bark I composed this mighty piece of poetry that beats Vogan poetry: To the Lane Cove bush

Remnant rain forest in Sydney's inner suburbs? Really? Yes. Lots of weed infestation, but plenty of successful eradication underway.

A wonderful bushland reserve, close to the city. Congratulations to the local council and bushcare teams for reducing the weeds and encouraging indigenous plants. Mature privet and ochna still grow beside the main tracks, they should go asap. Thought I saw a lyrebird today.

This nature walk is wonderfully blessed by foliage, and chirping birds and squaking parrots. Every few steps you can smell jasmine and hear the rustling leaves and see the flying birds. This bushland park is a delight for those who love flora. Don't forget binoculars if you want to watch some birds though. The foliage is pretty thick so it's easy to miss quick moving bodies. Also, most of the birds are perched high up. So down below one doesn't get to see them much.

Delightful forest, lots of birds, beautiful ferns and many different types of trees. The paths are very good and safe.
