Quiet spot to stop and rest when driving north or south. Friendly staff and lovely home made meals at the cafe.

A lovely Botanical Gardens. I found the Aboriginal section very interesting. Loved the orchids and unusual plants. Paths easy to get around and paper map very useful. The new fernery was great especially today in the heat with the light spray.

Today my kids and I visited the gardens and participated in the succulent potting Kids program. We learned how to pot some succulents, and they looked super cute, too! After that we wandered around the paths and enjoyed the recently manicured kids garden and the Aboriginal plant walk. We learned about Aboriginal shields, axe heads and carrying vessels. Very interesting and exciting for my kids.Staff are always warm, inviting and helpful!

Beautiful and simple botanical gardens with native bush walk, amazing palm and succulent gardens! Make sure to be covered up or use bug spray as the mosquitos live here too. Also make sure to buy a token at the cafe as there is a boom gate for the carpark which require a token when leaving ($5 per adult and $10 a family).

I organized a Christmas function at this venue - I was looking for something special but within my budget. Well oh my did I find the biggest hidden jewel of this region. From the first phone to actually meeting the Event Co-ordinator Monique everything was friendly and professional at the same time .This function was undercover with an outlook of the flora and fauna wow - Now lets talk about the gem - The whole of these gardens are run by 98% volunteers and straight away when getting out of your vehicle you appreciate the love and care of these gardens. The peace the tranquillity hits you like a bomb (good one)As I said it was a Christmas function - A volunteer made a Christmas tree from wood to that unnamed volunteer thank you for the lovely thought and gift for future functions. The table was Themes Christmas in the Bush" - so fitting for where we were. Now the Food - remember these people are volunteers and everything was totally home made and I believe they would have worked so long hours to make this so special - Brings back memories of eating sandwich's which your mum would have made plus other homemade delights. There was no Hussle Bussle with staff and or waiters hanging around the food was self served - coffee was a never ending cup if you wanted. So for any type of group looking for peace where you can just be you

Excellent display. Interesting and diverse range of plants with informative signage. Was able to navigate the paved walkways in my wheelchair. Cafe and small shop on site too.

First Botanic Gardens that I have paid to enter. To say it was the most underwhelming gardens I've visited is an understatement. Agreed it's late autumn, but the scenery was repetitive in each section and nowhere near the variety of specimens found elsewhere. The only section I somewhat enjoyed was the succulent and cactus.
