Enjoy with the Australia native trees and flowers and also enjoy with photo frame. If you visit Dee why beach, please don’t forget to visit the stony range botanic garden. I do recommend this place. I walked along the track, I found many kinds of trees and flowers such as fire flowers, Rutaceae Microcitrus Australasica FingernLime and stag horn etc. The flora reserve was established as a native botanic garden inn2007You will see the butterfly such as Orchard Swallowtail, Dainty Swsllowtailand Fudcous Swallowtail etc. You also see the native honey bee as well. There is the Picnic/ Barbeque area. You start the walk from the main walking track and then you will find many interests spots area such as rainforest, Bush Tavket Garden, Flower Garden, Wave Rock, Paperbank corner and lookout.Don't forget to enjoy with photo frame area. Dog prohibited.

A beloved secret sanctuary in the hub of Dee Why. One that we all need, and one that we need to protect.Always a pleasure to visit, and to leave refreshed and healed. A place for kids and parents, meditators and wanderers. Soothing for the soul.Well-managed by a dedicated group of volunteers, this reserve was saved from an abandoned quarry which is now a priceless gem of green space that gives back to the community by merely existing.Paths meander so you're never bored and increase private contemplation. Some are accessible by wheelchair or pram, offering respite for all members of the community.Bush turkeys, kookaburras, blue tongues, magpies, native mynas, lorikeets and more native animals call this place their home. Huge old trees, spirit giants look upon the grounds. It's such a magical place to enjoy and cherish. It's free to enter, so do pop in a hold coin or a donation to keep the place going.Thank you to all the volunteers for letting us enjoy this beautiful reserve in all its majesty.

Stony Range Regional Botanic Garden
This is only a small botanical garden containing a rainforest and temperate bush section. There are many ferns, gums, ground dwelling orchids and other natives. It is very kid friendly as the walks are all easy and not long. Lots of little places to stop and the trees and plants numbered and documented.
