For a biophilia, this place is a gem. The local land conservation society is doing great work in protecting and regenerating the bush in this tree-densed park. The park is still populated with mature grown turpentine, red mahogany, Sydney bluegum and forest oak trees in the middle of suburban residential area. Surprisingly, you can still spot an echidna or two and if you are keen, wait for owls at night.Please, no dogs in this area.

Walk through a rare ironbark-turpentine forest and spot the 9 different tree species it contains. A small park with a zip line, swings and small climbing frame at the other end of the short walking track. Definitely worth a look.

This is one of the quiet parks which can be found in and around Hornsby. I generally go to this park as part of my jog and do a few laps in the bush track inside. During morning a few elderly people can be seen exercising in the park. Doesn't have too many things for kids but the zipline is free most of the time which is not the case in other parks.

You think the council would clean the years of bird droppings of the benches which makes them completely understandable unless you want a dose of the bird flue.

Limited play equipment, only 2 swings, zip line and a couple of small climbing bit but has a nice small bush walk in the park. Good for a short visit.

I love this park and no, I don't want to see more things for kids to do in it. Not everything is designed expressly for children, sometimes a park just needs some trees, seats & a track rather than being filled with equipment to entertain the kiddies. There are several great parks in the Hornsby Shire designed just for children.
