Blackheath Memorial Park

This park has everything! Three different play areas for all ages, picnic tables and a shelter, toilets, a duck pond, the pool, and let’s not forget the rocket.Seasonal colour in the Rhododendrons and autumn leaves too as a bonus.

This park embodies old skool cool. The kids absolutely love running between the three play areas- it really wears them out ☺️ There are also a set of swings by the small lake. There are large open spaces for picnics, picnic benches, and few covered picnic areas, one which has a BBQ.Toilets available.The park is next to Blackheath pool which was empty- unsure if they are remodeling or it's closed.Not wheelchair or pram friendly.

Hunting for Autumn Colors in Blackheath, I accidentally discovered this pretty park, which was indeed a very pleasant surprise. Located near Glen Tourist Park, facilitated with swimming pools, a Duck Pond, and a Playground with many equipments, Blackheath Memorial Park is a fantastic place for family to enjoy a relaxing weekend in the Blue Mountains. You can Picnic and BBQ, while watching the Children having fun... I am uploading several photos as my recommendations

Nice place for kids to play and also there’s a BBQ facility for adults.

Nice park with beautiful trees but not very well maintained. It needs lot of landscaping or at the very least proper footpaths. Not sure why they built disjointed playgrounds but at least they did something nice. The children's playground is great. There are a few sections with the old playground the new playground with wired sculpture that kids can climb on. And the new playground has a rocket with a slide as well and monkey Bars. The pool is at the end of the park and looks just wonderful. There are a few benches to sit on and tables in the shade for lunch. This makes a nice walk and if you have kids or dogs a well worth visit. But please upgrade it so everyone can enjoy it - e.g pensioners

We went there for the kids park which our boy loved. Big space rocket to climb up with levers and steering wheel at the top and a slide in the middle. Some reno going on when we visited to extend the park. Looks like they are putting in a public restroom. Other kids play and climbing stuff around the park and benches for parents to watch from. Not many seats in the shade though.

A great playground with the classic, locally built, very tall rocket slide. A great trail of older Ninja like courses and some vintage vehicle styled climbing bars as well.There is a new toilet block which is a big plus. There is lots of grass but we were there in winter and it was very damp (read sodden) in lots of parts.

A very nice park in a picture perfect location... must visit one Autumn to see the beautiful rust n yellow colored trees looking the streets! You'll love the place especially if you are a photo fanatic like me! There's a very nice play area with colorful n good play equipment. there was a pond at the end of the park with ducks swimming n waddling around... Hours of fun for the entire family.

Very large park with loads of opens space and some beautiful rhododendrons and gardens. Play equipment here for all age kids is outstanding and offering play equipment from yester year. Also has a duck pond and a rocket
