Blaxland Riverside Park

Amazing place for picnics. Plenty of parking space is available though I feel parking should be unrestricted on weekends. So many rides and swings for kids. There is one water play area as well. Remember to pack extra clothing. Toilets could enjoy another round of cleaning on busy days. Overall a nice playground and picnic area. Plus it's dog friendly too.

What a fantastic park! During the day the water play area is on. The slides, swings, tunnels eating areas are set out really well. There is plenty of space to accommodate large groups.Public toilets are located pretty far from the playground though.If you plan to visit the park during the weekend or school holidays, you will need to get there early to get a parking spot as there is very limited spaces. Once the car park is full, you will need to park the car pretty far away and walk to the playground.

Huge and beautiful. A great place for families to have fun. It’s adjacent to Newington Armoury Warf. By the side of the parramatta river. Plenty of parking place but it can get very busy.

Blaxland Riverside Park is what I can only describe as a kids' haven and people of all ages. It has the Adventure Playground on the Parramatta River side and plenty of grass area for all sorts of sporting activities. This is a huge area with picnic and barbecue facilities, public lavatories, café and kiosk and the beautiful River Marker. There are parking lots here with about 3 hours parking restrictions. It's an incredibly beautiful park to visit and explore.

A fantastic park for the kids! Miss 8 and Mr 6 LOVED the water park and climbing the large tower. It was hard to get them to leave! The metal slides were a massive hit and we spent a few hours here. EASY to find parking but bring a picnic blanket as seating is limited. There are loads of bathrooms and a cafe near the bank for coffee or a snack.

Amazing vast park with amazing play equipment. Great for adults and kids alike. Really enjoyed the tree house climb!Turn in from the gaol next door. For some reason I always miss the turn as you would not expect it to be so close but everything is very safe!
