Heartbreak Trail
Beautiful trail, but it's super steep to walk for 10km. We did a few kms before turning back and then drove through it (still very steep in the car and then all uphill the last few kms). Tranquil sounds of the birds and water and amazing treescape.

Heartbreak Trail
Beautiful national park. Great campsites along the heartbreak trail. Some of the most beautiful trees I've seen. 10/10 worth the drive.

Heartbreak Trail
The most beautiful location to go camping, canoeing or walking in amongst the glorious Karri trees, with a view to die for..... or try your courage by climbing the bicentennial tree

Heartbreak Trail
A one way road that was lovely nestled in the trees and beside the river. Checked out the campsites, which we will stay at another time.

This place is truly magnificent. Situated on the immensely beautiful warren River and nestled within a giant Karri forest this site boasts some of the largest trees in the world. Some of the great features of this site include semi-secluded camping sites with reasonably clean drop toilets, balconies overlooking the river, stairs into the river at popular swimming/fishing holes, amazing bushwalking trails, climbing trees and an outstanding amount of wildlife.Nearby the are plenty of free gas bbqs and a large gazebo kitchen if so required, there are a number of great places to go exploring, fishing or simply relax.Plenty of wildlife live here and there is the opportunity to climb the Dave Evans Bicentennial Tree (google it) for those more daring souls.

Our trip to Warren State National Park back in 2014. The park is home to old growth Karri trees which can grow up to 90m (300ft) tall and it's a fantastic place to explore and go off-roading.

Have to climb the crazy Dave Evans bicentennial tree! Top deck is 65 meters above the ground. Free for climb, scared and good fun!

Still there. Beautiful natural camp. Only long drop toilet here. Have to bring own water. Right in the middle of a beautiful forest next to the Warren River near Pemleton. Can go on day exursions to see big climbing trees (not me). Go on a world class mountain bike track. (Also not me). Close to a huge sand blow that you can drive across with a four wheel drive. I walked some of it. Close enough to drive down to Windy Harbour. Beautiful day I was there.

Heartbreak Trail
Beautiful place to trek. Located in Warren National Park, the one-way Heartbreak Trail follows the river. We were here for the Gloucester Tree but ended up enjoying the trail very much. Would highly recommend to visit during wildflower season, you could see numerous beautiful flowers including Clematis.
