Albany Health Campus

I came in on Friday the 3/2/23 with a swollen thumb as it was infected the doctor in Ed just looked at it gave me antibiotics and sent me home. On Sunday the 5th I’m back in with the same problem and been waiting for answers nearly 24hrs later they are going to operate but if the can’t fix the problem here the Will stitch me up and send me to Perth for the surgery. Sad that the WA health system is lacking and the lack of empathy from the doctor in ED on the Friday . Hopefully they can sort it out and show more care towards their patients. Would like to mention that the nurses that I’ve had are great and the one doctor I have spoken to today was great

Unprofessional. Disgusting that I almost worked at this place. A friend of mine went there when they wanted to hurt themselves and the gossip that my friend got from young female nurses are disgusting and judgemental and for the male mental health nurse bruising their arm after jiggling the needle inside their forearm, is one twisted psycopath, he knew what he was doing to my friend. All of the young nurses need more training and empathy, if they have any. Don't be a nurse if you think you can get away with stuff, you might lose your rego all together.

Doctors, nurses and general staff, all very accommodating where possible. I was very hot, and when I asked about a fan, I was told there were none. Yet an hour later, the same person came to see me to say they'd tracked down a fan for me! I cannot fault the staff. ❤️

The Doctor and crew that were on Sunday morning - are they the A team? Professionalism, empathy, problem solving was all there to see. Even made me a coffee :) you are all a credit to the health care fraternity. And, Doctor hope you had a meal made for you when you got home :)))

Very judgemental, depending on who you see. Especially in the E.D. Don't bother calling, get sour attitude from lady who answers. VERY unprofessional.

I visited the emergency department recentlyThe nurse on duty was a wonderful lady. Her bedside manner and rapport were beautiful and it made me so at ease while I was unwell. She reassured me and also made humorous conversation which I loved. She listened to everything I had to say and made sure I could have treatment. I was able to get some treatment which helped drastically and left a couple hours later. Her approach made a true difference to my recovery.The doctor that attended my case was also thorough and polite, ensuring to check all of my symptoms and let me know what he was doing at different times.I want to thank the staff very much for making my stay a positive one while I felt so unwell. I appreciate the excellent quality of care I received.

Would not recommend the Albany hospital to birth at.The doctors don’t listen to you, and do what they want.The doctors and midwives will also tell other people about what’s going on with your birth, and even allow them to see your baby whilst you’re waiting to even meet said baby.Horrible experience, myself and many others, stay clear of this hospital if you plan on having more than one child because after the experience with Albany, you won’t want more kids.

This hospital may be ok for adults or elderly but do not bring your baby or child here for any care. Nurses and doctors are incredibly incompetent when it comes to looking after children, will falsely lead you along and lie to and just do what they want.

Absolutely disgusting! My mother was bought in by Ambulance tonight around 11:10 on it is now 1:10 am and NO DOCTOR HAS SEEN HER AT ALL! The nurse has barely been in either! She was bought in with very high blood pressure and had a mini stroke a couple of months ago! SERIOUSLY NOT GOOD ENOUGH SHE COULD DIE AND NO-ONE WOULD KNOW!!

I love these guys I had a bike crash 4 years ago they saved my life 7 hour operation then I had to go back just about every two weeks for a year they were really good .I'm writing this review because my 3 year old broke his arm the other night and they fixed him up with a cast in about 2 hours really great service
