In regards to the play equipment this park is extremely lacking and needs a lot of updating. Equipment is very old and there isn't much geared towards younger kids. Track for riding is great but the park really needs some new/better play equipment.

Love this park! Nice and big, lots of shade and a huge mini road the children can ride on. This is one of my favourite parks in Toowoomba.

Good small park with just enough to keep the locals and guests occupied. Great place to sit for a picnic with toilet facilities - although major clean and some lighting required. Bbq facilities would improve this location

Great little park tucked away. Kids had a blast with the bike track that has road signs. There is also a playground, swings, beach volleyball pit/sand pit, big grassy areas, tables and chairs and lots of shade. No toilets though.

Great bike riding path for kids teaching them about roundabouts, train lines and other traffic signs. Shaded area for play equipment too. 2 x Tennis courts are popular. Park signage however is getting tired and dated and would benefit with an upgrade

I park near here to walk to work during the week and i really think there's a lot to like about this park. It's got something for almost everyone. A good amount of open space for recreation and being swooped by the magpies and plovers. The tennis courts were recently revamped and are always popular. They're inevitably in use whenever you want a hit of tennis, so it's good that the basketball courts are there too. These are equally good and they're usually available. There's a good variety of play equipment but most of its pretty dated. I don't think kids really have a perspective of how old play equipment is though, the kids that are often there of an afternoon seem to enjoy it still and it's all well maintained. There's a group that teaches road safety to children here with all the traffic signals and road signs around the park. It's a nice idea. When I was around the age they teach here I was no Cadell Evans and probably would've run straight into one of those signs - but that's just me. Lots of undercover seating. Not so good for those needing their Vitamin D. Clubhouse recently extended and seems nice; this coming from someone who's never been inside. Whats in there remains a mystery. Public restrooms available though sometimes locked; not recommended for emergencies. I notice a lot of people complaining about the cracks in the pavement making the paths unsafe for kids. I know for myself, pain was the best teacher when i was young so possibly not the worst thing in the world? There is one noticeable subsidence in the pavement in one of the seating areas. TLC required.Bit of a tidy up and 5 stars for sure.
