Beautiful park amazing performances and acts held there. Go there at 6pm to see all of the amazing lights. And a romantic retreat. All in one park.

Came here for the Pete Murray concert. Was my first time and I was very impressed. The stage itself is huge and beautifully designed. The light shows happening in the background while the artists were performing were mesmerising. We had a beautiful, cool, clear evening. However, with no covered area, I'm not sure what it would be like in the beating sun or rain. Some shade sails might be a useful addition. Lots of grassed area and the fairy lights around the trees were a magical touch. I would definitely come here again.

A wonderful public space with all the facilities. Great place for outdoor concerts, or even a picnic on the lush grass. Lovely little slice of Cairns.

Attended an event there yesterday and went to the loo and both cubicles had no toilet paper. Other that it is a beautiful setting for photos as the gardens are gorgeous. But make sure your amenities are fully equipped if a function is booked there for the day .

Nice park in Cairns, just north of the CBD, and a block or two inland from the hospital.In between Grafton and Sheridan Streets.Multi-purpose, with a big stage in the middle and grass seating to enjoy the odd performances.At the northern end of the park, more trees and shrubs.Park is gated. Only a few entry and exit points.

Such a beautiful area in the middle of the city. Wonderful to wander through, sit & read or just meditate. Many flowering plants on the various walks, all named so you can use in your own gardens. Lots of bird life too, and always many Curlews in residence. At night many of the larger trees have fairy lights illuminated making it even more magical.

Last night was the first time I attended a night time function at Munro Martin parklands, I was thoroughly impressed. It was an ambient venue, perfect for listening to the Queensland Symphony orchestra.

Saw the Brisbane Symphony Orchestra here tonight. Well laid out area that allowed easy deployment of byo chairs and rugs. Easy to get to the toilets and food and drink carts. Good place to attend an event.
