Well worth a visit. 1.5 hour drive from Winton. Book in town at the information centre for a tour. Fabulous dinosaur footprints showing a stampede and excellent guide Adam. Self directed walk afterwards just beautiful. Road not fully sealed but easily traversed

The 3.5 km hike combined with the tour of the dinosaur stampede makes for a good half day trip from Winton. I recommend doing the hike early in the morning while it's cool and the light is favourable for photography before doing the tour.

Awesome experience - will certainly be back when the kids get a bit older to really appreciate what this monument represents. The extra activities of waking tracks and stunning surrounds all contribute to what is an amazing experience. The drive from Winton is nothing like google maps tells you. Closer to a 90 minute casual drive, inclusive of micturition stops for kids.

The only known dinosaur stampade fossil in the world (Family pass $60)SERVICEFriendly and helpfulPRESENTATIONVery informative and explains not just how the fossilised prints were discovered, but also describes the process in which the fossil record has been preserved. The computerised dramatisation was well done.TIPThe fan at the rear of the seats is very loud, sit toward the front to hear the sound of the presentation at its best.FOSSIL STAMPADEAmazing and fasinatingEnsure you follow the walkway from end to end to see the entire variety of prints.TIPMy new Samsung Galaxy 8 took better pictures than my 600D Canon. If you have one of the new smartphones, they fare better with the lack of natural light for detail.CAFEVery basic fast food like pies sausage rollsMachine coffee (Why not barista?)Chocolates, softdrinks, and chipsSOUVENIRSBanjo the cuddly theropod is $19.95T-Shirts + Polo ShirtsPatches, keyrings, stickers etcOVERALLExcellent experience

After you get over the 110km drive out of Winton to get here, it's a fabulous experience. Its not all dirt, some bitumen. But as a tourist attraction it should be sealed. Sorry but that's my opinion. We loved it. But not the drive.

Visited as part of the Stampede Trackways tour; we did both, the short (~100m) climb, and the medium (~700m circuit)Both are definitely worth the effort but make sure to take enough water along. And also, make sure to follow the request to not take any souvenirs" from the grounds. The site is kept to a very high standard
