Farrer Ridge Nature Reserve
Great place to go for a walk with family or friends or just by yourself. Easy access from the adjoining suburbs but far enough away from the hustle and bustle to enjoy the natural surrounds.

Lovely place to walk and take the dogs. Nice easy walk but long enough to feel like you've done a decent stretch of your legs.

My neighbour's house on Fsrrer Ridge has been razed to the ground for a new house. It took 3.5 days of a huge machine to do this. It still has a huge rock the size of a sedan to be blasted out of the ground. I have photographed the proceedings and am willing to share them.

Nice place, but we ran into some horrible, arrogant people there, who seemed think they owned the place. One went to kick a small dog, because it was off-leash. The little dog is 15 years old and has hardly any teeth, what harm could it possibly do, to humans or wildlife?! But no, the rules say dogs have to be on a leash so if they're not, that makes it ok to kick them. Can't heip wondering how often these fine upholders of the rules exceed the speed limit on the road!
