Molonglo Reach
An excellent place for kayaking with a good entry and exit point. Clean facilities, bbq and tables in the park area. Car parking okay but a bit limited. You need to watch out for cyclists when heading down to the water.

Molonglo Reach
This is a small little community park that has a parking lot, toilets and a little Beach area with sand. Very easy to put a kayak or canoe in the water which leads you out to Lake Burley Griffin. A very nice paddle where you will pass several birds ducks and even a cow pasture. And if you would enjoy seeing Kingston from the waterside, you can make your way under the bridges for a spectacular view. Cyclist can also enjoy the bike path. If you want a peaceful little getaway, this is the place to go.

A great little part of the Molonglo River before it becomes Lake Burley Griffin. A nice beach to launch kayak, canoes, SUPs. BBQ areas and picnic tables complete the setup. It would be nice if the government provided improved parking facilities as it’s a little cramped and crowded at times.

When we were going to play SUP, someone came out and told us that we couldn't get into the water from the pier because it was built by their club. But the truth is that we didn't really affect their club's activities...

There are plenty of places to park and access the river. Cycling and walking tracks lead you into the city and around lake burley griffin. You can explore the molonglo river toward queenbeyan or paddle into the city.
