Beautiful lakeside garden with lush green surroundings. There is a walking path / cycling path along the lake. Nice picnic spots available under the shade of large trees.

A lovely place to walk. In Spring and Autumn it is particularly spectacular thanks to the cherry and plum blossom and the turning leaves. But even at other times it is lovely to look at the various sculptures and temples, the peace bell, and to look out over the lake.

Peaceful well maintained park by the water just behind the Hyatt hotel.The Nara Candles Festival is a great occasion to come and enjoy the place.Free parking available around.

It is a beautiful location to have a picnic and a kick of the football. The short walk to Beijing Gardens and Nara Peace Park makes it even more stunning. A highlight for autumn or spring seasons.Lack of disabled parking is a challenge. There was a lots of off road pushing in a wheelchair. If you don't have anyone to push you it might be difficult to get to all places.

We stumbled across this park by accident while driving through Canberra. A quiet and pleasant park to go for a walk or a picnic. I don't know if this park is very well known, and maybe the locals are keeping quiet so they can have it all to themselves. I can't blame them if they are. Well worth a visit and a wander.The only thing stopping me from giving this venue a 5 star rating is that that we had to buy a parking ticket to park in the car park which only had 2 other cars in it. Bureaucracy losing the plot???

Lovely garden for a picnic and walk down on the lake. Has beautiful cherry blossoms - in bloom around August and Chinese featured gardens.

One of the best gardens in Canbeera, which is on the southern shore or Lake Burly Griffin. Whether you are visiting the park in spring, summer, autumn or winter, there are plenty of things to do around the park - or simply walk along the lake and take in some of the best views and amazing sunsets.

Beautifully landscaped area on the banks of Lake Burley Griffin, with enchanting gardens designed, built and donated by Japan and China.Shady and peaceful. Perfect spot for a picnic on a fine summer's day.
