Currently new to the area and renovating, I always go to Ison;s first (99% of the time have what I am after) either in town or Sth Nowra. ALL staff I have had dealings with have been more than helpful. Any special orders have arrive by or before the indicated date. All staff know their stuff in particular the boys in the back sheds.RegardsStuart

As a local trade I do my best to buy local and support small business over the big end of town. But these guys make it hard on themselves. 2 mins to close on a Saturday after loading up sand and sleepers to be locked out the front door and lights out, had to go in backdoor and listen the the staff constantly complaining they dont get paid overtime so I need to go and that I was lucky the other guy was already getting stuff and paying. The owner should wake up to themselves and pay the lockup staff at least half an hour past close so they can serve who is left in the store. It was like the world was ending for them all to be held back. They must all really hate working there. No idea how 5 mins of politeness would have kept a local business buying local. Now I will order my speciality stuff from Sydney and buy everything else at the store that keeps everything and is open on the weekends past midday.

I have recently ordered some products through Ison and Co. I have been thoroughly disappointed with my whole experience with this company. Communication is extremely poor and staff members do not have sufficient product knowledge. They have failed to deliver on various orders I have made through the company and no compensation nor apologies and resolutions have been made. I have lost time and money from dealing with this company and unhappy clients thus impacting on my business and business name. I would not recommend this company and unless they train their staff on building material knowledge and customer service I will not be ordering from them anytime soon. Really upset with the whole experience.

They do have a good range of products but I've never experienced such backward attitude from the customer service before. The guys need some customer skills.

Third and last time treated in a rude, condescending manner by older male staff without provocation, specifically, I’ve noticed when I’m not with my husband. This time I was lectured about returns- I was in 5 minutes earlier and had a receipt for my purchase, assuming the date and time and item is on the receipt right? Yet treated like I could have been a thief, stealing a $20 sink waste. Laughable, obviously he wouldn’t have done this to a man.Certain individuals here in the front shop (not the timber area) are obviously NOT friendly to women.

I went to purchase concrete from them and my van broke down. Bill Ison went above and beyond drove me to get parts arranged a mechanic for me, Thanks Isons

Always great to buy here. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Visited Isons South Nowra for some steel and other home handyman bits and pieces. Plenty of staff on hand to help, no crowds, and had my steel cut to length. Service was fantastic.
