Their coffee is really good, service is fine but I always find their cakes on the stale side. The tarts I’ve had come with pastry hard as a rock so I’ll stick with coffee only.

I am so sick of stale cakes also. They come up from Sydney and take a few days I’m told to get to shop. I think the price of food is through the roof. Coffee is only just, not hot and food always pre made and lots left over at end of day. Next day it’s there again. I am a pretty good cook I’m told and won’t pay premium prices for stale cakes and soft pastries. Omg if people think this is good there’s something seriously wrong.If you want to try fresh food go to Ludos at Avoca or Bake House and see the difference. So expensive here for stale…..

Overall, two stars. Pattison's Patisserie isn't known for friendly service but it can do a fantastic latte. I enjoyed being a regular for the coffee, muffins, and slices until encountering the worst customer service I have experienced so far in Sydney yesterday. The coffee service was closed at 4:40pm and so I asked what time I needed to come by to make sure I could get a coffee the next day. The staff member became defensive about being short-staffed and, while she has always been brash in her approach towards customers, her attitude went too far when she rolled her eyes at me. I sought information to gain certainty in leaving work on time to have a coffee there but I'm over her attitude and because of this particular staff member I am choosing to buy coffee elsewhere from now on.

Agree to other reviews regarding the coffee, the barista made good coffee however their pastries definitely not worth the money. Ranging between $7.5 to $10+ a piece plus charging extra for sauce - the pie had no taste, burned, dry and the pastry looks like its been seating in the warmer for days. Sorry to say not the standard i expect for paying this price in Chatswood.

Review for chatswood chase.Now this is purely because the store states that it closes at 5:30pm I walked in at 4:55pm and chairs up no where to sit if I had wanted 1 door close with only the side door open, I walked in asked for a coffee and NO the machine had already been cleaned, now I would not walk into a Cafe 15mins before closing because I know how long it takes to clean the machine but had thought 30mins before closing I was safe.This is more a FYI if management isn't aware as I am sure I am not the only one that was turned away

The girl makes the coffee in Westfield Hornsby does a poor coffee and would not respond to criticism, she put a lot of milk in cappuccino and little coffee.But the customer service is good particular the girl named Freya" she is always attentive and friendly."
