Fenech Guitars

I remember when I was looking for a quality Australian Guitar maker in Covid that I spotted a youtube video for Fenech guitars on the Gold Coast.I had previously bought Gibson and Martin guitars from USA and found their build quality was not the best.After seeing a number of Fenech videos on Youtube I actually spoke with Aaron who told me of the quality built guitars he was making.Due to Covid restrictions at the time I (December 2020) I could not actually try out Aarons guitars as the QLD borders were shut and there was not a dealer as yet in NSW.Purely from the sound of Aarons guitars played by some Aussie artists like Amy Shark and Kyle Lionheart on Youtube , I rang Aaron to place my first order in October 2020.Stacey Aaron’s wife does the specialised logos so she did one for me to remember my recently passed away son on my new Fenech VT New Guinea Rosewood D78.It was done in pearl and was a great touch.When I had recieved my guitar by freight and I played my new guitar I rang Aaron to congratulate him on such an amazing quality guitar.The sound of a Fenech handmade guitar is better than any other!That was in December 2020 during Covid.Since then I have bought another 4 Fenech guitars.1. GA auditorium camphor2. A VTP indian Rosewood GA cutaway3. A VTP Blackwood D784. A D78 Traditional Mahogany guitar in gloss.The quality of these Fenech guitars and attention to detail is the best . So good that I have sold all my Martins, Matons and Gibson guitars.Thank you Aaron , Stacey and team for making such beautiful guitars.

Took my Cole Clark FL2 into Fenech guitars for a set up. Tried one of Aaron's guitars and was blown away, had to have one. If your in the market for a top quality guitar try out a Fenech, the build quality and sound are off the chart. 1 Cole Clarke up for sale.

Aaron & his tight team of craftspeople have created a wonderful atmosphere that's a delight to visit. If you're serious about guitars you can't miss this workshop. Call ahead as it's a hive of activity!

Always the best day visiting Stacy and Aaron and the guys at Fenech guitars on the Goldie.. Every time there is something new and exciting to see. I can only find 24 hours in each day but I'm sure Aaron has discovered a secret of getting 36 hours out of each day. We walked away with a new VTH New Guinea Rosewood Auditorium and 3 more almost finished.. One we hadn't ordered but had our name plastered (invisibly) all over it.. Gabon ebony Back and Sides..Masterbuilt marvelous.. This guitar will find a home as soon as it hits our Fenech wall.. That's the only sad thing I suppose, we will only get to caretake this stunning instrument for a short time on it's journey to a loving home.. This guitar will have to be seen to be believed.. How amazing can a guitar be.. Well, obviously, this amazing.. Photos to come..

I recently purchased a masterbuilt Fenech Grand Audotorium with Gaboon Ebony from mall music. I am a guitar collector and have am fortunate to own a number of high end guitars. This guitar rivals any guitar in my collection for finish, and build quality. As far as tone is concerned I now have no need for my Maton, Gibson, Taylor, and Cole Clarke Accoustics as the Fenech is incredible. I’ve never heard a voice on an Accoustic guitar quite like it. It’s a scooped sound with detailed treble, smooth low end, and sustain. Love it, well done Aaron!!!

Not sure this place is still open. Looked permanently closed when we visited Australia Day 2019.. maybe ring before you plan a visit

Built my 1st guitar here in 2016, (about to finish my 3rd). Came in with very basic wood working skills, and was taught in great detail how to build a guitar of my choice, so much variety of timbers to choose from, classes are very social and a lot of fun!

Words are woefully inadequate to express how much I enjoyed taking the two week intensive guitar building class with Aaron. I loved every minute of it, can't recommend it highly enough, nor wait until my next opportunity to build another. As a player of almost 60 years, a former collector, and having managed a Sunset Boulevard guitar shop in Los Angeles for a number of years in the late 70s, I swear by Aaron's gift for luthiery. The guitar which he showed me how to build, absolutely blows my mind. It is without a doubt, the finest acoustic guitar I have ever owned, and I have been very fortunate to have owned and enjoyed quite a few fine instruments through the years. I have custom ordered hand-built acoustic guitars twice before, back in the 70s, and they both pale compared to the one we built in the intensive class. Thanks Aaron, keep up the great work, this experience has changed my life on a number of levels. The sound of my new Wandoo beauty has fanned the dormant embers, reigniting a fire, the intensity of which, I have not felt in many years, inspiring me to be a better player. But be forewarned, there is no going back. Should you be open to Aaron's LUTHIERAPY, you will never look at a guitar in the same way again. On the fence? Go meet Aaron and take one of his beautiful instruments around the block, you'll be glad you did. Geographically challenged, as was I? Just look at the delirious smiles on the faces of every one of his students or customers, upon completion or delivery of their new instruments. What are you waiting for? There's no time like the pleasant.
