Nundah Dog Park

Again another day another dog park pebbles likes this getting around putty no other dogs here for her to socialise with and interact but it is the middle of the day and a Sunday at that

One of the biggest dog parks in the area which has a nice mix of open space and dog play/training equipment. Busiest periods seem to be Friday afternoons and Saturdays which can have 20+ dogs but often during the day you will have the whole park to your self.

Pretty good dog park. Lots of fenced space for dogs big and small to play, including a dog obstacle course with a dog ramp, tunnel, weaving posts, balance beam and low platform. Water bowl/drink fountain, rubbish bin and council provided poo bags also. Lighting automatically turns on around dusk.Two bench seats plus a pavilion with table and benches either side. Often some of the obstacle course is used for seating as well. Public toilets available at Boyd Park, across from the school - less than a minute walk from the park.Just the right amount of trees to provide shade, and it's often the perfect place to be on a summer afternoon with the park getting lots of shade and cool breezes.Busy most afternoons from about 3 to 6pm with many regulars coming daily. Often there will be 10-20 dogs there during this time.

Sufficient space, not very large. Well maintained and good parking.

This park needs to be split for small dogs.

Great park that has recently been cleaned up. Dog Agility facilities are available with a tunnel, ramp, zig zags and some hoops on the ground. The park is quite long with sufficient room for games of fetch with quite a long run and at least as far as what I can throw. The entry at both ends has an airlock gate and there are bags available at the entrances and a refilling water bowl. There are some areas without grass that get quite muddy in the rain, so beware if the ground is soggy, this becomes a bit slippery.

A very nice park, within a big park, in the middle of Nundah cbd. All fenced, alot of room for the dogies to roam freely within it. There's also chairs and trees for resting and shade.The surroundings is a big field, a play ground, small basketball court and exercise area, accessible from straphine Rd and a street off Eton Rd.

It would be very useful if there was a public toilet near this dog park. The dog park is kept clean by the thoughtful users as well as City Council workers.This is a great asset to the area. Shaded, seating areas and several older trees and fun obstacles for fur babies to play on.
