3-star rating - Disappointing Customer Experience (but hey let's give them benefit of the doubt)On the website it says they provide grooming service to any breed. Here is a summary of what happened today:1. We called them this morning and the lady on the phone said they would not consider taking big dogs until after October due to policy reasons (my dog is a Samoyed weighing 28kg), she then asked if we wanted to make a booking after October.2. We said yes and asked if they were willing to accept a booking in November, they said it would cost $300 minimum, we said that would be alright but then the lady (almost immediately) said their schedule was full in November.3. We then enquired to see if they could make it happen in Dec/ Jan. The lady took a few seconds then said they would only take return customers during festive season.Huh? wonder what would happen if my dog were a toy poodle, ay?We felt that the treatment was unfair because clearly they did not want to accept a fluffy dog, who understandably requires more effort to groom. Instead of directly expressing their unwillingness to take a Samoyed, they came up with different excuses within a 5 minute call. Despite the fact that they tried to charge a premium price, which we accepted on the spot.That being said, we hold nothing against their grooming skills, we believed they might be good groomers, that's why we tried our best to make a booking in the first place. However, they gave us a very poor customer experience.They could simply have said your dog is too fluffy and heavy

My two dogs have been attending Maru Maru dog daycare and have grooming appointments here for about 2 years. The service and care the staff have taken looking after my fur babies has been fantastic. I can't recommend Maru Maru highly enough.

The owner and staff are lovely, friendly and understanding. It was my dog’s first time being at a groomers and they made sure to clarify all information about my dog and what we were after prior to commencing. When I went to collect my dog, she was very happy, playful, and relaxed despite not liking other dogs. She looked amazing, the trim was very good, her fur was pristine and had 0 matting. The price is amazing for the service given and I would come back again! Highly recommend Maru Maru and thank you for the adorable scarf xx

My dog is always beautifully groomed at Maru Maru. They are professional, clean and so loving towards the dogs especially anxious dogs like mine. Highly recommend!
